Technical Characterisation of the Top Eight Athletes in the Women's +78KG Category at the 2022 World Judo Championships
Judo,as a traditional stronghold in our country,has demonstrated commendable achievements on the international stage.Whether at the Olympics or World Championships,women's judo in the heavyweight category has consistently been a prime focus for China in the pursuit of gold and silver medals.The World Judo Championships stand as the pinnacle international judo competition second to the Olympics,and the outcomes of this event hold crucial reference value for pre-Olympic preparations.This study employs methods such as literature review,video observation,statistical analysis,and interviews.Focusing on the technical characteristics of the top eight athletes in the women's +78kg category at the 2022 Tashkent World Judo Championships,the paper statistically analyzes the utilization of various techniques by athletes during the competition.With a foundation in understanding their technical features,the objective is to pinpoint weaknesses,offering insights for the preparation of Chinese women's judo +78kg athletes for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
