Against the backdrop of a healthy China and the prevalent trend of nationwide fitness, this study focuses on 40 middle-aged men(35-45 years old)from Jiayihe Fitness Club.Over a three-month period, the study employs three training methods—resistance training, aerobic exercise, and combined aerobic and resistance training—in one-on-one personal training sessions. The study assesses morphological metrics such as weight, body fat,arm circumference, waist circumference, hip circumference, and leg circumference before and after training.Additionally, cardiorespiratory function metrics including systolic and diastolic blood pressure, resting heart rate, and qualitative metrics like bench press, squat muscle strength and endurance, and standing trunk flexion flexibility are assessed.A comparison and analysis are conducted based on the collected data. The results indicate that among the three different methods, the combined aerobic exercise and resistance training method has the most significant impact on the fitness of middle-aged men. This finding can serve as a reference for fitness clubs aiming to achieve optimal fitness results through diverse training methods.
