目的:综合评价咖啡因(CAF)对运动员跳跃能力的作用效果,探究最佳摄入剂量和对不同运动项目的增补效益.方法:检索Web of science等数据库,收集咖啡因对运动员跳跃表现作用的研究文献,运用PEDro量表评价文献质量,运用Stata17.0 软件开展合并效应量与偏倚分析.结果:整体效应检验发现CAF可显著提高运动员跳跃能力;中剂量片剂或胶囊形式的CAF改善跳跃表现效果明显;足球、橄榄球、排球和其他运动项目组增补效益明显,对橄榄球运动员改善效果最为显著;各组文献均不具备异质性,发表偏倚检验未见异常.结论:摄入咖啡因可显著改善运动员跳跃能力,剂量选择在4~6mg/kg 体重范围内最可能增强足球、橄榄球、排球运动员跳跃表现,对其他运动项目组内的运动员有潜在改善效果.
A Meta-Analysis on the Impact of Caffeine on Athletes'Vertical Jump Performance
OBJECTIVE:This study aims to comprehensively assess the influence of caffeine(CAF)on athletes'vertical jump performance,investigating optimal dosage and supplementation benefits across various sports.METHODS:A thorough search of databases such as Web of Science was conducted to gather literature on the effects of caffeine on athletes'vertical jumping.The PEDro scale was employed for quality evaluation,and Stata 17.0 software was utilized for merging effect sizes and conducting bias analysis.RESULTS:Overall effect tests revealed a significant enhancement in athletes'vertical jump performance with CAF.Notably,moderate-dose tablets or capsules of CAF showed pronounced improvements in jumping performance.Significant supplementation benefits were observed in soccer,rugby,volleyball,and other sports groups,with the most notable improvement seen in rugby players.There was no heterogeneity among literature groups,and bias tests indicated no abnormalities.CONCLUSION:Caffeine intake significantly improves athletes'vertical jump performance,with the most effective dosage falling within the range of 4-6 mg/kg body weight.This improvement is particularly prominent in soccer,rugby,and volleyball players,suggesting potential benefits for athletes in other sports groups.
