Effects of Compound Training based on Velocity Loss on Lower Extremity Explosive Power of Young Basketball Players
Through the non-traditional compound training based on the load anchoring of the velocity strength training system, the adaptive difference between the traditional fixed RM%load anchoring and the velocity loss anchoring of Chinese young professional basketball players was studied and summarized. Methods:Sixteen young basketball players from Fujian Xunxing Club were designed to adopt the squat exercise with unfixed times based on VL5%and VL20%,respectively,to explore the effect of compound training based on different velocity loss on the explosive power of the lower limbs of the young basketball players. They were randomly divided into 5%VL group and 20%VL group. Both groups needed to train their lower limbs twice a week for 6 weeks. Conclusions:(a)Compound training under 5%VL and 20%VL load regulation can effectively and quickly improve the explosive performance of basketball players'lower limbs, among which 5%VL may be the potential optimal load dose.(b)5%VL can utilize fewer squats to induce better lower limb strength adaptation.(c)5%VL may be more suitable for basketball players during the season preparation period,as it can maximize the lower limb strength of young basketball players by reducing the number of squats, thereby helping basketball players take the initiative in various specialized confrontation scenarios.
