Research on College Student E-Sports Event Organization and Guidance based on School-Business-Association Three-in-One Model——A Case Study on China University E-Sports Association
E-Sports,as a rapidly rising global cultural phenomenon in this century, has transformed into a burgeoning mainstream sports activity.Using the China University E-Sports Association(CUEA)as the research focus, this study employs methods such as literature review, expert interviews, and case studies to examine the current development status of the competition.By scrutinizing the existing organizational model, the study reveals the following major issues that act as impediments to development:(1)inadequacies in intellectual copyright protection, severe deficiencies in standardized supervision;(2)weak IP operational capabilities,a scarcity of professionals;(3)short event cycles, and limited impact of continuous promotion;(4)the absence of technological and virtual sports events, excessive reliance on the games themselves;and(5)ineffective collaboration between universities, and a singular focus in educational and cultural exchanges. In light of traditional college sports event characteristics and experiences, this study introduces an innovative organizational model for college eSports events, emphasizing"official association leadership, university participation, and third-party corporate support."The proposed national organization pathways for college eSports events include(1)integrated industry-education IP operation, collaborative cultivation of versatile talents,(2)tiered regional divisions to establish a"university+professional"linkage system,(3)promoting the integration of"digital skills+physical fitness"in competitions,and(4)strengthening the internal development of campus eSports to create a positive atmosphere of"green eSports+red eSports."
