An Investigation and Analysis of the Current Situation of Youth Table Tennis Competitions in Guangdong Province
This study uses methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,expert interview and mathematical statistics to study the relevant aspects of the development of youth table tennis competitions in Guangdong province.It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current competition development,aiming to create a better competition environment,optimize the competition mechanism,and better promote the communication among table tennis players in Guangdong province.Research conclusion:(a)Guangdong Province has abundant resources of young table tennis talents,with the highest number of participants in the national youth and junior high school selection competition in the country;(b)The"Table Tennis Association Cup"has become a youth table tennis brand event in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area;(c)The number of participants in the"Provincial Primary and Secondary School"competition is relatively small;(d)The"Table Tennis Association Cup"and"U Series"competitions have a large number of participants and the venue space is relatively crowded.Therefore,it is recommended to:(a)arrange the competition reasonably,extend the competition schedule,increase the number of competition venues,and promote player communication;(b)Use modern media to report and live stream the competition;(c)Strengthen cooperation with enterprises and improve the quality of organizing competitions.
