Monitoring and Analyzing the Technical and Tactical Abilities of China's Men's Table Tennis Major Competitors in the Paris Olympics Quadrennium
By employing methods such as literature review,video observation,four-phase indicator evaluation,classic technical efficiency value evaluation,and mathematical statistics,the technical and tactical abilities of the five major competitors of China's men's table tennis were monitored and analyzed in a total of 20 matches.The objective of this study was to provide valuable insights for the preparation of China's men's table tennis team for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.Conclusions of the study:Tomokazu Harimoto exhibits a distinctive style characterized by a combination of powerful serves and quick attacks.He possesses superior serving ability compared to his receiving skills.Lin Yun-Ju demonstrates a comprehensive receiving and serving tactical system,with optimal scoring effectiveness in the receiving and counterattacking phase.He has superior receiving ability compared to his serving skills.Hugo's serves are known for their varied spin,and he excels in intense rallies from mid to long-range distances.However,his performance in receiving is inconsistent,with his serving ability surpassing his receiving skills.Ovtcharov's performance in both serving and receiving is not particularly remarkable,especially in the strategic application during the stalemate phase.His tactical flexibility is relatively poor.Zhang Yuzhen demonstrates a keen sense of seizing opportunities,relying on an aggressive playstyle,primarily through serves and attacks,with most victories secured within the first four shots.In stalemate phases,Zhangs performance weakens,where his serving ability surpasses his receiving skills.
