A Study on the Influence of Variable Resistance Training on Gait,Posture and Coordination of Cheerleading Athletes
OBJECTIVE:This study investigates the effects of variable resistance training on the gait, posture and coordination of cheerleading athletes.METHOD:Thirty cheerleading athletes were observed and randomly assigned to a control group and a variable resistance training group, undergoing a 12-week training intervention. The control group received traditional training, while the experimental group underwent variable resistance training.RESULTS:Variable resistance training significantly improves the balance, movement speed, and posture control and coordination of cheerleading athletes. The comparatively modest improvements in the control group underscore the notable positive impact of variable resistance training on these aspects.Based on these findings,it is recommended to integrate variable resistance training into the training regimen of cheerleading athletes to enhance overall athletic performance, prevent sports injuries, and optimize movement efficiency.Additionally, personalized variable resistance training plans should be tailored to individual needs, with ongoing monitoring and assessment of training effectiveness to ensure the sustained efficacy of the training program.
