Empirical Analysis of the Equalization Level of Sports Facilities in Provinces in China
This study aims to accurately assess the factors influencing the equalization level of sports facilities across different provinces in China.Using data from 30 provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan)in 2021,mathematical and statistical methods were employed to analyze the per capita sports facility area,the number of sports facilities,and the quantity of facilities for major sports,ball sports venues,sports and fitness venues,and ice and snow sports venues.The study investigates the reasons behind the uneven distribution of sports facilities and delves into the factors contributing to this disparity.The findings of the study reveal that although there has been an overall expansion in the size of sports facility areas in recent years,disparities still exist in the distribution of facilities across different sports and regions.These disparities indicate variations in the development of sports among provinces in China.Based on these results,it is recommended to prioritize the equal development of sports facilities and implement innovative reforms in future sports development.
