A Study on Innovative Pathways of Police Physical Fitness Training in Public Security Academies
The primary objective of physical fitness training in public security academies is to elevate the professional standards of law enforcement officers, enhance the overall operational capabilities of the police force, and align with the evolving demands of contemporary public security initiatives. However, current physical fitness training programs in these academies exhibit shortcomings such as a disconnect between physical fitness and technical and tactical training, limited diversity in training content and methods,an inability to meet the practical needs of law enforcement, and a lack of systematic approaches. To address these issues, recommendations include a focus on innovative curriculum content to integrate physical fitness and tactical training, the introduction of creative models for police physical fitness training to boost participant engagement, aligning physical fitness training with real-world scenarios for increased specificity and effectiveness, and the establishment of a comprehensive physical fitness training system to enhance overall training outcomes.
