Survey and Analysis of College Students'Attitudes Toward Campus Running and the Likelihood of Cheating
This study conducted a survey with 306 college students using a self-designed"Campus Running Attitude Questionnaire"and subjected it to tests for reliability and validity. The research delved into the factors influencing attitudes toward campus running and the likelihood of cheating, employing response surface analysis for deeper insights. The findings revealed the following:(1)College students exhibit significantly more negative attitudes than positive ones towards campus running, with greater negativity correlating to increased cheating likelihood;(2)Female students tend to hold more negative attitudes towards campus running compared to their male counterparts;(3)Students who fail to meet the passing grade in physical fitness tests display more negative attitudes towards campus running;(4)Students with lower exercise self-efficacy demonstrate more negative attitudes towards campus running;(5)Students with low internal motivation and low external motivation exhibit more negative attitudes and are more likely to cheat in campus running;(6)Consistency in the two motivation levels corresponds to more positive attitudes, yet simultaneously indicates higher cheating likelihood;(7)Students with low internal motivation and high external motivation express more negative attitudes, but there is no significant difference in their likelihood of cheating. This study proposes recommendations for enhancing college students'attitudes toward campus running and addressing cheating behavior, focusing on exercise self-efficacy and motivation.
