现代足球传入梅州的时间决定着中国内地现代足球的时间原点.以梅州足球传播历史的时间断裂为出发点,运用文献研究法、田野调查法和逻辑分析法,及现代足球国际传播史和国内史料文本的二重视野,对"1873年梅州五华即有现代足球活动"这一学术论断进行考证.结果发现:传教士边得志不具备传播现代足球的条件;"1901年,元坑中书馆始有足球活动"更可信;现代足球传入中国内地应回归到1881年北洋水师学堂的校园体育活动;梅州足球的早期传播应归功于同盟会革命党人所培养的体育师资.
Abstract
The accurate determination of the timeline for the introduction of modern football to Meizhou is pivotal in establishing the origin of modern football in mainland China.Commencing from the historical gap in the propagation of Meizhou football,employing methods such as literature research,field investigation,and logical analysis,and adopting a dual perspective encompassing the international dissemination history of modern football and domestic historical texts,this study scrutinizes the academic assertion that"Wuhua in Meizhou witnessed modern football activities in 1873."The findings debunk the notion that missionary Bian Dezhi was instrumental in disseminating modern football,lending greater credibility to the claim of"football activities started in ZhongShuGuan School in Yuen Keng in 1901."The influx of modern football into mainland China is traced back to the campus sports activities of the Beiyang Naval Academy in 1881.The early dissemination of Meizhou football is attributed to sports educators nurtured by the members of the revolutionary party in Tung Meng Hui.
