A Study on the Dynamic Evolution of the Competitive Pattern in the 16th~20th World Aquatics Championships based on the Comparative Advantage Theory
Using Pareto analysis method and comparative advantage theory,with the results of the 16th to 20th World Aquatics Championships as the research object,the swimming,water polo,diving,synchronized swimming,and open water swimming are systematically analyzed,so as to explore the dynamic evolution of the world swimming competitive pattern.The study shows that:(1)the teams of United States,China,Australia,Italy,Great Britain,Russia,Canada and Japan had advantages in the 16th~20th World Aquatics Championships.(2)Russia and China had more overlapping comparative advantage events.(3)The comparative advantage index of Canada was close to China,and Russia and Canada were important competitors in China's comparative advantage events.(4)The absolute advantage index of each swimming advantage team fluctuates in different events,and the world swimming competition pattern is undergoing dynamic evolution.It is suggested to optimize resource coordination,strengthen information collection,use technology to improve training effect and enhance international competitiveness.
