Research on the Effect of Mobile Phone Gaze on Plantar Pressure in College Students
The objective of this paper is to investigate the effects of mobile phone gaze on gait characteristics, plantar pressure, and lower limb physiological structure in college students during static standing and gait walking. Methods:Using the methods of literature review, experimentation, and mathematical statistics, the MedTrack plantar pressure distribution board test system was used to test the plantar pressure of 34 college students while standing and walking with and without staring at the mobile phone. Results:(a)In static standing, the trajectory line and the trajectory area of the plantar center of gravity when staring at the phone were significantly larger than those in normal standing.(b)During dynamic walking, the average walking speed and steps per minute decreased significantly while staring at the phone. The time of walking with left and right feet and the time of supporting with both feet increased significantly. The peak pressure of M2,M5 and HMon the left foot and T2-5,M2 and M4 on the right foot, and the contact area of M5 and LH on the left and right foot were significantly higher than those in normal walking. Conclusion:The posture of walking and standing while staring at the mobile phone can affect the distribution of plantar pressure and change the gait characteristics, increase the sway of the body's center of gravity on the support surface, increase the amount of muscle activity required to maintain the normal shape of the body, and cause muscle compensation phenomenon, which is prone to injury and fatigue.
