ERP Study on the Influence of Short-term Cycling on Brain Nerve Inhibition Function of Overweight College Students
Taking the brain nerve inhibition function as the starting point,ERP technology was used to explain the specific mechanism of short-term cycling exercise affecting the inhibition function of overweight college students from the level of EEG.Methods:In this paper,16 overweight college students in a university were taken as subjects, and the short time exercise intervention was carried out with power bicycle. The Flanker paradigm was used to measure inhibition function, behavior and EEG data.MATLAB,EEGLAB and FIELDTRIP were used for ERP data processing and analysis.Results:(1)For the same stimulus and different stimulus tasks in Flanker's task, sample T-test was conducted on responses before and after exercise intervention, respectively, and the results showed significant differences. There was no significant difference in the suppression of conflict response(when the response of different stimulus tasks was subtracted from the response of the same stimulus task),but there was a significant shortening trend in the suppression of conflict response after the test.(2)N2 amplitude induced by the same stimulus task and different stimulus tasks before and after exercise intervention showed significant difference, and the voltage value of the prefrontal lobe increased.Conclusion:Short-term cycling exercise can activate the excitability of the prefrontal cortex of overweight college students, and can significantly improve its inhibition function.
