A Study on the Impact of Decision-Making Aid Technology on Football Matches
The integration of science and technology with sports has become increasingly prominent, and football has been at the forefront of this fusion.Technologies such as goal-line technology,VAR(Video Assistant Referee)technology, and SAOT(semi-automatic offside technology)are gradually being implemented in football matches, making the game fairer and smoother. This study employs research methods such as literature review, data analysis, and case study to investigate the influence of decision-making aid technology on football matches, both domestically and internationally. The results indicate that:(1)Decision-making aid technology in football matches are technological tools used by referees to review and assist in making decisions during the game.(2)The continuous development of decision-making aid technology upholds the fairness of the game, improves the level of refereeing, ensures a smooth flow of the match, and provides a new experience for viewers by breaking away from traditional television broadcasting models.(3)However,there are still certain contradictions between decision-making aid technology and football matches. These include the potential reduction of the match's entertainment value due to interruptions for video replays, the high costs associated with the use of decision-making aid technology, the need for further improvement in the maturity of equipment, and the risk of referees becoming overly reliant on the high accuracy of technology-assisted systems.(4)Football decision-making aid technology should focus on enhancing the efficiency of referees'decision-making while maintaining the fairness of the game.Referees should receive professional training to enhance their understanding and cooperation with decision-making aid technology.Additionally, rules and standards for the use of decision-making aid technology should be refined to safeguard the rights and interests of players.
