From Obscurity to Prominence:The New Development of Rural Sports Culture——The Inspirational Case of the"Village Super"League in Rongjiang County,Guizhou Province
Sports are playing an increasingly vital role in the development of rural areas.Rural sports culture contributes significantly to the material and spiritual advancement of rural communities.This study examines the characteristics of rural sports culture development in China,focusing on the transition from obscurity to prominence in the"Village Super"League in Rongjiang County.Utilizing research methods such as literature review and logical analysis,this paper proposes four key directions for the development of rural sports culture in China:the government delegating power and empowering to act as a"service provider"for rural sports,prioritizing the role of villagers as key stakeholders and solidifying the distinctiveness of the"village brand,"leveraging regional culture as a foundation to create and nurture unique branded sporting events,and utilizing media to attract attention to rural sports and engage wider audiences.
