New Paradigms,Emerging Domains,and New Driving Forces of Physical Education in Higher Education Institutions in the Context of Educational Digital Transformation
With the progressive advancement of digitalization,industries across all sectors have embarked on transformative journeys by harnessing digital technologies.Sports education,too,has been swept up in this wave of change,presenting new opportunities and challenges.In order to promote the comprehensive development of sports education in the digital age and facilitate its transition towards digitization and data intelligence,this study employs literature review,interviews,and on-site surveys to explore the landscape of sports education in higher education institutions against the backdrop of educational digital transformation.The findings reveal that under the influence of educational digital transformation,the teaching methods in higher education sports education have transitioned from"traditional instruction"to"precision-based teaching,"from"physical instruction"to"virtual instruction,"and from"individual instruction"to"collaborative instruction."The study identifies disparities in mindset and digital awareness,teaching behaviors and digital competencies,as well as teaching resources and digital applications in the context of educational digital transformation.Consequently,there is a need to address these gaps in the areas of mindset,behavioral capabilities,and resource utilization in the digital transformation of higher education sports education.To this end,it is recommended that higher education institutions strengthen their digital mindset,enhance knowledge and skills in digital technologies,and invest in and leverage digital resources to expedite the cognitive,behavioral,and resource-related transformations required for the digitalization of higher education sports education.
