High-Quality Development of Physical Education Teacher Workforce in the Context of"Strengthening Teacher Workforce Plan":Opportunities,Challenges and Pathways
This study utilizes literature review,logical analysis,and other methods to explore the opportunities and challenges for the high-quality development of the physical education(PE)teacher workforce under the"Strengthening Teacher Workforce Plan"and proposes targeted solutions.The opportunities for high-quality development of the PE teacher workforce under this plan are reflected in the provision of policy guarantees,laying the foundation for the construction of a high-quality education system for PE teachers,and providing support for the balanced development of high-quality PE teaching staff.The challenges faced include the stigmatization of the PE teacher workforce and hindered professional growth,outdated PE talent cultivation systems,difficulties in implementing evaluation reforms due to a single evaluation system,and the lack of a comprehensive digital platform for sports intelligence and resource integration.To seize the opportunities and address the challenges,the study proposes targeted solutions,including the reconstruction of the image of PE teachers to enhance their comprehensive capabilities,deepening internal governance reforms in education to promote the transformation and upgrading of PE teacher education systems,implementing diversified evaluations to establish a multidimensional evaluation mechanism,and integrating digital intelligence to strengthen the construction and sharing of PE resources.
