Principles and Characteristics of Physical Education for Students with Visual Impairment at Compulsory Education Stage
Students with visual impairments are a special education group in China,and improving their physical and mental well-being is of great significance for their personal,family,and social development.This study utilizes research methods such as literature review to explore the principles of physical education for students with visual impairments in the compulsory education stage,based on their physical and mental characteristics.The study also analyzes the characteristics of physical education for students with visual impairments in the compulsory education stage.The characteristics of physical education for students with visual impairments in the compulsory education stage should be reflected in key aspects of teaching,including establishing specific imagery of movements;adopting holistic cognition as a teaching strategy;promoting practical participation as a teaching objective;slowing down the pace of teaching as a teaching process;and prioritizing psychological well-being in teaching organization.
