A Comparative Study on China's Women's Wrestling Techniques and Tactics in the Last Three Summer Olympics
This study employed principles from sports measurement and statistics to measure and analyze the technical and tactical aspects of China's women's wrestling events in the last three Olympic Games(30th to 32nd editions).A total of 43 matches with 419 indicators were used as raw data,and quantitative analysis was conducted from three perspectives:capacity,comprehensiveness,and effectiveness.The results revealed the following:(1)There was no significant difference in technical and tactical capacity among the three Olympic Games(t-test,all P-values>0.05),indicating consistent capacity across the editions.(2)In terms of comprehensiveness,the Tokyo Olympics exhibited the highest level of completeness with no missing values in technical and tactical types.Additionally,the Rio Olympics ranked first in comprehensiveness based on the ratio of technical and tactical usage(0.76).(3)Regarding effectiveness,both the Tokyo Olympics(average success rate of 54.69%)and the Rio Olympics(average success rate of54.12%)demonstrated superior technical and tactical effectiveness compared to the London Olympics(average success rate of 33.02%)(t-test,all P-values<0.05).Furthermore,there was no significant difference in technical and tactical effectiveness between the Tokyo Olympics and the Rio Olympics(P=0.94>0.05).
