The Origins,Value Examination,and Optimization Path of Outdoor Adventure Education in China
Outdoor adventure education,as a typical form of experiential education,challenges the constraints imposed by traditional exam-oriented education and helps address the deficiencies of the current education system.This study utilizes research methods such as literature review to trace the origins and emergence of outdoor adventure education in China.It is found that outdoor adventure education is rooted in outdoor adventure activities,catering to people's desire for engaging in nature-oriented experiences.Furthermore,the values of outdoor adventure education align with the concept of"postmodern education"and hold significant implications for breaking the boundaries of the modern education system.The study also explores the value integration between outdoor adventure education and the transformation of China's modern education system.Finally,an optimization path for outdoor adventure education in China is proposed,including refining and differentiating adventure education,implementing risk management,promoting the concept of"study through research,"ensuring knowledge dissemination,advocating government leadership while encouraging private sector participation,and establishing adventure education programs rooted in local cultural contexts.
