Design of an IoT-Based Indoor Environmental Monitoring System for Badminton Halls
OBJECTIVE:The aim of this study is to achieve long-term systematic monitoring of indoor environments in badminton halls and enhance the capabilities of intelligent public services for nationwide fitness.METHOD:A comprehensive IoT-based indoor environmental monitoring system for badminton halls was designed.RESULTS:The system consists of hardware components, servers and databases, and software components. All control parameters of the system can be monitored in real-time through the client-side interface. The system also enables automatic control of equipment such as fans, adjustable lights, and air conditioning units within the hall through the client-side interface. The smoke alarm can be triggered based on predefined thresholds and the alerts are displayed in real-time on the client-side interface.Furthermore, the system allows for real-time data acquisition, storage, and analysis of environmental data within the badminton hall.CONCLUSION:The system comprises both software and hardware components and utilizes a server to store data collected by various sensors in a database, which facilitates subsequent analysis of the collected data.
