Precise Training Design and Effectiveness of Baseline Shooting Techniques for Team China of Women's Handball
This study employs literature research method, logical analysis, and rank-sum ratio(RSR)methods to compare and analyze the baseline shooting techniques of the top eight teams at the 25th Women's Handball World Championship with those of the Chinese women's handball team. The findings indicate that:(1)The Chinese women's handball team's baseline shooting RSR values are 0.500,0.494,0.478,and 0.344,which are categorized as C-level,indicating low performance.(2)To address the weaknesses in baseline shooting, the focus is on"enhancing baseline shooting skills."Training objectives are broken down into three levels using the"target grading principle."The training program is divided into four stages, each lasting three weeks, with weekly training units.Training content includes individual specialized shooting drills, baseline shooting drills in set plays, and baseline shooting drills during fast counterattacks.(3)Training results:There are significant improvements in the variability of baseline shooting, shooting ability under pressure, and creation of shooting opportunities.Notable enhancements are observed in shooting technique, regional coordination in shooting, shooting ability under fatigue, and error control.Specialized baseline shooting techniques and baseline shooting in set plays show a clear linear positive correlation with the training camp's progress.
