Technical and Tactical Analysis of Players in the Men's Singles Final at the 2023 All England Badminton Open
OBJECTIVE:This study aims to analyze the technical and tactical characteristics displayed by Li Shifeng and Shi Yuqi during the men's singles final at the 2023 All England Badminton Open.METHOD:The study employed literature research method,video analysis,and statistical method to study the serving,receiving,front,middle,and backcourt techniques,as well as scoring and losing points based on the final match video.RESULTS:Both players utilized backhand drop shots for serves.Li predominantly employed a hairpin net shot technique to create attacking opportunities,while Shi demonstrated a more varied receiving technique.In the forecourt,Shi's technique was more diverse,and in the midcourt,he predominantly utilized drives and fast block techniques.In the backcourt,he frequently employed smash and drop shot techniques.CONCLUSION:The two players exhibited slight differences in their use of technical and tactical strategies,with Li displaying a more consistent performance than Shi.SUGGESTION:Future training should focus on enhancing athletes'individual skills,combination techniques,general and specific physical fitness,and psychological development.
