Educational Strategies for Stronger Students'Self-Control in High-Risk Drowning Behaviors
Drowning high-risk behavior is an important antecedent variable of drowning accidents,and improving the self-control ability of drowning high-risk behavior can effectively prevent and reduce the drowning high-risk behavior,thereby safeguarding student's lives.This study utilizes literature research method,interviews,and logical analysis to summarize the influencing factors of drowning high-risk behaviors.It examines the reasons for the failure of self-control in high-risk drowning behaviors from the perspective of the individual's self-control resources,including cognitive biases in one's own swimming ability,insufficient risk perception ability,and deviation anxiety from the herd mentality.Educational strategies are proposed to improve students'self-control in high-risk drowning behaviors:guiding students to accurately assess their own swimming skills;promoting safety knowledge to clarify the boundaries and severity of drowning high-risk behaviors;satisfying the high sensation-seeking experience through other socially accepted positive adventurous activities;and strengthening the construction of a positive learning community to guide the group norms towards a positive attitude to water safety.
