Effect of Physical Exercise on Mental Health Literacy of College Students——The Mediating Effect of Physical Self-Esteem
This study employs literature research method,questionnaire surveys,mathematical statistics,and interviews to investigate the relationship among mental health literacy,physical self-esteem,and physical exercise of college students.Physical self-esteem is used as a mediating variable to verify its mediating role in the impact of physical exercise on mental health literacy.The results reveal that:(1)There is a positive correlation between exercise intensity,exercise duration,and exercise frequency in physical exercise and mental health literacy,with exercise duration having the strongest impact on mental health literacy;(2)There is a positive correlation between exercise intensity,exercise duration,exercise frequency and physical self-esteem in physical exercise,with exercise duration having the strongest impact on physical self-esteem;(3)There is a positive correlation between physical self-worth,motor skills,physical condition,physical attractiveness,physical fitness,and mental health literacy in physical self-esteem,with physical self-worth having the strongest impact on mental health literacy;(4)Physical self-esteem performs a mediating role between physical exercise and mental health literacy.
