A Discussion in Macro-Unit Physical Education Teaching in China
With the promulgation of the Curriculum Standards for Physical Fducation and Health in Compulsory Fducation(2022 Edition),the status of macro-unit physical education(PE)teaching in the field of PE has been acknowledged,and it has emerged as a critical issue in addressing the persistent problem of ineffective teaching form in the process of PE instruction.This study utilizes literature research method and logical analysis to examine the concept of"macro-unit PE teaching"and to assess the research status quo in this area in China.The study identifies three developmental stages in the research of macro-unit PE teaching in China:the stages of budding and exploration,deepening of theoretical understanding and enrichment of practical application,and widespread adoption and continuous development.Additionally,in response to the shortcomings in ontological research,systematization,and professionalism in the field,the paper offers future research recommendations:further emphasis on ontological research in macro-unit PE teaching,establishment of a systematic macro-unit PE teaching design system,and enhancement of researchers'professional competency level.
