Challenges and Mitigation Strategies for Implementing Survival and Adventure Physical Education Courses at the Compulsory Education Stage under the New Curriculum Standard
This study employs literature research method and logical analysis to explore the value implications of survival and adventure physical education(PE)courses in the compulsory education stage under the"New Curriculum Standard".It analyzes the actual challenges faced by schools in implementing survival and adventure PE courses under the"New Curriculum Standard"and proposes measures to alleviate these challenges. The study suggests that incorporating survival and adventure PE courses into school physical education at the compulsory education stage holds significant value in adapting to modern teaching methods, enriching physical education course content, and empowering students'active role in sports. However, there are practical challenges such as utilitarian educational concepts, high levels of danger and difficulty, limited course resources, immature school-based curriculum, and unclear responsibility avoidance. Therefore, the study proposes measures to break away from utilitarian educational concepts, strengthen safety mechanisms and guarantees, optimize curriculum resource allocation, enhance school-based curriculum, and clarify the liability for sports injuries in primary and secondary schools.
