This study utilizes literature research method and logical analysis to delve into the idea of"curriculum-based ideological and political education"within the physical education(PE)discipline and its relationship with traditional ideological and political courses.The study elaborates the ideological and political elements in the PE discipline and discusses the practical significance of ideological and political education in the PE discipline.It proposes strategies for effective implementation,including the precise identification of ideological and political elements within PE curriculum,the careful design of ideological and political education objectives for each lesson,and the innovative enhancement of teaching methods to increase the effectiveness of such education.Additionally,the paper further explores specific operational methods and implementation steps tailored to the realities of secondary education,with the aim of providing theoretical guidance for advancing school PE reform and fulfilling the fundamental task of fostering moral education and character building in students.
