Comparative Analysis of Tactics between Chen Yufei and Mariska in the Badminton Women's Team Final of the 2024 Uber Cup
This study employs literature research method,video observation,statistical analysis,and comparative analysis,to statistically analyze the tactical characteristics of Chen Yufei and Mariska during the women's team final of the 2024 Uber Cup.RESULTS:(ⅰ)In terms of serving and receiving,Chen Yufei primarily uses high forehand serves to the backcourt and focuses on pushing and slicing for receiving.In contrast,Mariska serves with a backhand short net shot and primarily employs lifting and smashing for receiving.(ⅱ)Regarding front court techniques,both players mainly utilize the net lift technique,with Mariska having a slightly higher rate of frontcourt offensive technique use compared to Chen Yufei.(ⅲ)In the mid-court,both players primarily use flat drives and net plays,though their shot trajectories differ.(ⅳ)For backcourt techniques,both players demonstrate versatility in smashing,high shots,and lifts,with a higher frequency of smashes;however,in terms of scoring through backcourt techniques,Chen Yufei clearly outperforms Mariska.SUGGESTIONS:(ⅰ)Chen Yufei should incorporate more net short shots to disrupt her opponent's rhythm during the receiving phase,utilizing more lifts and pushes to take the initiative.(ⅱ)She needs to increase the frequency of her front court offensive techniques,reduce dependence on defensive lifts,refine the quality of her touch shots,and actively seize the net.(ⅲ)Chen Yufei could strengthen her use of counterattacking techniques against smashes and angled shots to disrupt her opponent's continuity.(ⅳ)In training,she should focus on enhancing her baseline counter-attacking ability and physical conditioning in the backcourt to improve her ball control.
