Measurement and Improvement Strategies for the Development Efficiency of Sports Economy in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region
Addressing the issue of uneven development in regional sports economies is a key component of achieving high-quality development in this area. This paper utilizes literature research method and the Malmquist index method to measure the differences and trends in the level of sports economic development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2017 to 2022,and proposes strategies to alleviate the imbalances in sports economic development in this region. The results reveal that Hebei's contribution to sports economic development is significantly insufficient, with considerable fluctuations. The current obstacles manifest as substantial differences in the levels of sports industry across the three places, resulting in a"one pulls two"dynamic;large economic disparities leading to one-way flows of key sports resource elements;and insufficient conversion of the innovative potential of the sports industry into industrial momentum. To alleviate the uneven sports economic development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, this paper proposes a"gradient connection"design concept and promotion strategies for Hebei's sports economy:first,to establish a symbiotic relationship network of sports economic growth poles;second,to create a specialized and tiered sports industry cluster model.
