Structuring of an Indicator System of Ideological and Political Elements in Public Physical Education Curriculum in Universities
This study employs literature research method,the Delphi method,and statistical analysis to investigate the indicator system for ideological and political elements in university public physical education(PE)curriculum.The aim is to enrich the theoretical contributions related to the study of ideological and political elements in PE curriculum and to provide a reference for university PE teachers in implementing ideological and political education within the PE courses.The indicator system comprises three levels:Level-1 indicators include ideals and beliefs,collectivism,sportsmanship,and character development.Level-2 indicators encompass 18 aspects,such as patriotism,national identity,unity and friendship,perseverance,resilience,self-discipline,and compliance with laws and regulations.Level-3 indicators further refine these level-2 indicators and include 56 aspects,including bringing glory to the country,fostering national consciousness,striving bravely,persistence,teamwork,and dedication to one's profession.The developed indicator system not only enhances the connotation of ideological and political elements in PE courses,covering a wide range of content,but also distinguishes itself from the ideological and political elements in specialized PE programs.It emphasizes the role of public PE courses in cultivating students'comprehensive abilities,reinforcing sportsmanship,and shaping character development.
