This study, grounded in the perspective of motor development, identifies several issues with current physical activities in kindergartens:neglect of motor development and a lack of fundamental movement patterns;repetitive movement content that lacks foundational variety and continuity;and an incomplete structure in the process of physical activities, which lacks depth. These issues suggest that kindergarten physical activities have not effectively or scientifically promoted preschoolers'motor development, nor have they established a solid foundation for future sports skills and lifelong physical activity. To enhance kindergarten physical activities in alignment with the principles and requirements of preschoolers'motor development,it is recommended to emphasize motor development goals, construct a foundational and sequenced system of movement content, and implement activities scientifically in accordance with preschoolers'motor learning patterns.
