Tennis Men's Singles Final of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships:A Technical and Tactical Analysis
This study utilizes literature research method,mathematical statistics,video observation,and comparative analysis to conduct a statistical analysis of the techniques and tactics employed by Novak Djokovic and Alcaraz during the men's singles final at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.The objective is to gain insight into the technical and tactical characteristics of the world's top male tennis players and provide valuable references for training in men's tennis.The findings indicate that Alcaraz achieved a higher first serve points won and second serve points won rate compared to Djokovic.On the other hand,Djokovic exhibited a higher first serve percentage,although his conversion efficiency was relatively lower.Furthermore,Alcaraz demonstrated superior performance in net points won,winners,total points won,and overall court coverage distance as compared to Djokovic.
