Realistic Challenges and Path Selection for the Cultivation of Youth Sports Reserve Talents in China
This study examines the realistic challenges and practical pathways for the cultivation of youth sports reserve talents in China using literature research method and logical analysis.The findings indicate that there are several realistic challenges in the cultivation of youth sports reserve talents in China,including insufficient output efficiency of the training mechanism,misalignment in project management,single performance evaluation for coaches,inadequate integration of physical education and academic education,and insufficient participation of diverse social groups in youth training.Based on these findings,this study proposes practical pathways for the cultivation of youth sports reserve talents,including the adoption of new models for training mechanisms in competitive sports schools,the expansion of management models for competitive sports schools,the establishment of integrated performance evaluation and management mechanisms with national vertical training goals,the deepening of mechanisms for the vertical integration of physical education and academic education,and the active involvement of social forces in youth sports training.
