A Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Physical Education Pedagogy Based on Outcome-Based Education
OBJECTIVE:This study aims to analyze the current application status and development trends of Outcome-Based Education(OBE)in the field of physical education(PE)pedagogy and provide references for exploring new pathways in PE pedagogy models.METHOD:Based on the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,CiteSpace,VOSviewer, and Excel software were used to conduct a visualization analysis of 307 selected articles, including the annual publication volume, institutions, authors, source journals, and keywords.RESULTS:The annual publication volume showed an increasing trend, divided into four evolutionary stages:initial period(2014-2016),growth period(2017-2019),fluctuation period(2020-2021),and peak period(2022-2024).The majority of the publications came from sports colleges and universities, with Wuhan Sports University having the highest publication volume of 30 articles, accounting for 9.77%.In terms of authors, the overall distribution was scattered, with many authors publishing individual articles, and a core group of authors has not yet formed in this field. The research hotspots mainly focused on the application of OBE in talent cultivation, teaching models,curriculum-based ideological and political education, physical education curriculum, and evaluation systems.CONCLUSION:The application of OBE in the field of PE pedagogy has issues such as low scholar collaboration and lack of prominent research achievements.SUGGESTION:Scholars should strengthen interdisciplinary and inter-institutional cooperation to further deepen the breadth and depth of theoretical and practical research in this field.
