An Analysis of the Medal Distribution Characteristics of China at the Paris Olympic Games
China's sports delegation achieved a new historic breakthrough at the Paris Olympics.This study employs literature research method and mathematical statistics to thoroughly examine the total number of medals won by China and their distribution characteristics.The purpose is to extract successful experiences,identify existing shortcomings,and provide a theoretical basis for preparing for the next edition of Olympic Games.The results demonstrate that with the continuous enhancement of China's competitive sports prowess,the global competitive sports landscape has evolved into a"two superpowers followed by multiple strong contenders"pattern.The medalists are not only young and robust but also possess higher levels of education.While the status of traditionally dominant events has been consolidated,there is also a flourishing development trend in potential advantageous events and emerging disciplines,while there still exist some uneven development.Recommendations include China's continued commitment to the system of mobilizing resources nationwide,promoting the revitalization of popular sports disciplines like the"Three Ball Games,"strengthening the cultivation of reserve talents in competitive sports,and effectively utilizing technological means to support the high-quality development of competitive sports.
