Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education Curriculum in Vocational Colleges:Practical Challenges,Better Practices,and Optimization Pathways
This study employs literature research method and logical analysis to examine the current challenges,experiential references,and optimization pathways for the integration of ideological and political education in physical education(PE)curriculum in vocational colleges.The study identifies several constraints in this area,including unclear objectives for ideological and political education,inadequate ideological and political qualities and teaching abilities of PE teachers,incomplete collaborative mechanisms for ideological and political education,and a lack of comprehensive support systems for the integration of ideological and political education.Drawing on the practical experiences of universities such as Huazhong Normal University,Beijing Sport University,and Xi'an Physical Education University,this study proposes optimization pathways for vocational colleges to enhance the integration of ideological and political education in PE curriculum.These pathways include setting clear goals for ideological and political education,simultaneously improving the ideological and political teaching abilities of PE teachers,establishing and strengthening collaborative mechanisms,and continuously enhancing the support system for ideological and political education.
