An Analysis of the China's Research on Physical Education Teaching Assessment over the Past Two Decades:A Visualization Analysis Using CiteSpace
OBJECTIVE:This study aims to investigate the research status,hotspots,and development trends in the field of physical education assessment in China over the past 20 years,providing valuable insights for future research in this area.METHODS:Utilizing the CiteSpace visualization tool,a sample of 178 research papers related to physical education assessment in China from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,spanning the years 2004 to 2024,was selected for visualized analysis of publication trends,authors,institutions,and keywords.RESULTS:Over the past two decades,the annual publication volume in the field of physical education assessment in China has shown a decreasing trend.The most prolific author in terms of publication volume is Yu Sumei,while Nanjing Normal University is the institution with the highest number of publications.Research hotspots primarily revolve around assessment targets and assessment content.Future research is expected to focus on areas such as physical education ideology,learning interest,and practical teaching.CONCLUSION:The field of physical education assessment has garnered widespread and sustained attention.Analyzing its research status,hotspots,and trends can offer valuable references and insights for future research endeavors and the advancement of this field.
