Digital Competence Building for Physical Education Teachers in the Context of China's Educational Modernization:Values and Advancement Pathways
This study employs literature research method and logical analysis to examine the value dimensions of digital competence building for physical education(PE)teachers in the context of China's educational modernization.It aims to construct a robust and efficient path for advancing digital competence building.The findings of this study reveal that digital competence for PE teachers encompasses four aspects:digital technology competence,digital values and aspirations,digital teaching competence,and digital learning and innovation.The development of digital competence for PE teachers is imperative for implementing the strategy of cultivating talents in the new era,meeting the internal demands of high-quality physical education,promoting the modernization of Chinese school sports,and fostering innovation in physical education.The proposed path for advancing digital competence building includes:establishing a collaborative human-computer educational model to address teachers'technological shortcomings,fostering teachers'internal motivation for learning to enhance their digital application and innovation abilities,fostering teachers'pursuit and endorsement of digital values to improve their self-efficacy in digital competence development,and building a multidisciplinary team of digital talents to drive the modernization of Chinese school sports.
