Insights from"Cut-Polish-Carve-Grind"to the Professional Competence Development of PE Teachers in Compulsory Education Stage
This study,using literature research method,expert interviews,and logical analysis,on the basis of exploring the concept of"Qie Cuo Zhuo Mo","Cut-Polish-Carve-Grind"in Confucian philosophy,proposes a four-step approach for enhancing the professional competence of physical education(PE)teachers in the context of their core literacy.The four steps are as follows:The first step is the"Qie"stage,which involves a comprehensive understanding of both teachers and students to establish a clear position.The second step is the"Cuo"stage,which focuses on refining and purifying teaching through continued education at the national,local,and school levels to enhance the professionalism of PE teachers.The third step is the"Zhuo"stage,which emphasizes the development of educational characteristics through continuous exploration,reflection,and innovation.The fourth step is the"Mo"stage,which involves honing teaching skills through a PDCA cycle management model,refining teaching through listening,learning,thinking,and writing methods,and integrating theory with practice through multi-dimensional approaches.
