Cultivating Competitive Sports Talents in China's Universities under the Background of Sports-Education Fusion:Demands,Predicaments and Pathways
With the in-depth advancement of the"sports-education fusion"in China,the cultivation of competitive sports talents in universities is encountering new opportunities and challenges.Through methods such as literature review and inductive-deductive reasoning,this paper aims to analyze the demands and real predicaments faced by the cultivation of competitive sports talents in Chinese universities under the background of the sports-education fusion,and explore its development paths,providing theoretical support and practical guidance for the cultivation of competitive sports talents in Chinese universities.The findings indicate that at present,there are predicaments in the cultivation of competitive sports talents in Chinese universities,such as the scarcity of resource allocation;obstacles in the sports-education fusion;prominent conflicts between study and training;significant problems in the quality and source channels of students;the lack of a systematic and scientific cultivation plan for competitive sports talents;and the urgent need to enhance the coaching level of coaches.The corresponding development paths are:actively transforming traditional cultivation concepts and grasping the key points of the sports-education fusion;alleviating the conflicts between study and training;actively promoting university sports events;strengthening the construction of the teaching staff and improving the coaching ability of coaches;pooling resources from all parties and raising funds for cultivation;expanding the selection channels for university athletes and improving the quality of student sources,etc.
