The Reconstruction of Social Interaction Among the Elderly Through Sports——An Explorative Analysis of the Subculture Group of Elderly Air Volleyball Players in Enshi,Hubei Province
When entering old age,individuals often encounter the challenge of social detachment.However,the elderly group participating in physical exercises can reconstruct social connections and enhance social participation during activities.From the perspective of the subculture of the elderly group,this study adopts literature research method,field observation,and interview investigation to analyze the social reconstruction of the elderly in the air volleyball sport in Enshi,Hubei Province,aiming to deepen the understanding of the elderly sports group.The study findings are as follows:air volleyball prompts the elderly to engage in exercise and social interaction,expands their social scope,and thereby extends the connotation of"playing air volleyball"for social purposes.Suggestions are put forward such as increasing the attention to elderly sports activities;building a harmonious and pleasant social atmosphere;deepening the internal and external connections within the subculture group.
