Enabling High-Quality Development of Physical Education by Generative Artificial Intelligence:Value,Challenges,and Pathways
Against the backdrop of the current educational reform,the rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence(AI)presents novel opportunities for the high-quality development of physical education(PE)teaching and learning.By employing literature research method and logical analysis,this paper delves into the value,challenges,and pathways of enabling high-quality development of PE teaching through generative AI.The researchers contend that the value of enabling high-quality PE development by generative AI is manifested as follows:facilitating personalized learning and heightening student engagement;optimizing the allocation of teaching resources and enhancing the appeal of courses;providing real-time feedback and evaluation to facilitate continuous improvement of teaching;and optimizing pedagogy to enhance teaching efficiency.The challenges of enabling high-quality PE development by generative AI are exhibited as:restricted technology promotion,which constrains application effects;the transformation of teacher-student roles and educational goals under the impact of intelligence;data privacy and security issues that threaten user trust;and the difficulty in evaluating teaching and learning effects,which restricts continuous improvement of teaching.Based on this,corresponding implementation pathways are proposed as follows:strengthening teacher training and capacity enhancement to drive the effective application of technology;establishing and perfecting a data management system to guarantee information security;promoting the deep integration of technology and teaching to improve teaching and lealrning effectiveness;and facilitating multi-party cooperation to aid in the sharing of educational resources.
