Connotation Interpretation and Insights from"Learning,Practice and Competition"of Ancient Greek Sports
As one of the remarkable cultural exports of ancient Greece on the global stage,sports have exerted a profound influence on the development of modern sports.Employing literature research method and logical analysis,based on the expansion of sports space,the depth of social development,and the awakening of people's body consciousness,this paper conducts a cultural deconstruction and connotation interpretation of the"Learning,Practice and Competition"system of sports in the ancient Greek period.The research reveals that the integrated implementation framework of"Learning,Practice and Competition"is guided by the pursuit of holistic life and operates stably by relying on the conferment of post-competition glory and divine grace,forming the following connotations:Learning is the return of virtue and the original intention of educating people;Practice is led by science and the core of teaching;Competition is progressive and the basis of value.The development of the elements of"Learning,Practice and Competition"in ancient Greek sports offers historical references and inspirations for the reform of the physical education system with Chinese characteristics:In learning,virtue can be restored and traced back to the long course of holistic life;in practice,science can be acquired and integrated into the system of balancing quantity and quality;in competition,progressive layers can be pursued and explained in the treasure box of value transmission.
