This study employs literature research method and logical analysis to explore the contemporary value and logic of ethnic sports in assisting colleges and universities in consolidating the consciousness of community of the Chinese nation,and proposes corresponding advancement paths.The researchers hold that implementing the modernization of ethnic work in the new era,promoting the innovative development of ethnic sports,and creating an interwoven learning environment constitute the contemporary value of ethnic sports in helping colleges and universities consolidate the consciousness of community of the Chinese nation.The logic of ethnic sports in helping colleges and universities consolidate the consciousness of community of the Chinese nation is reflected in enhancing students'cognition of the community for the Chinese nation through ethnic sports culture,cultivating students'emotions towards the community through ethnic sports skills,and generating students'behavioral consciousness of the community through ethnic sports spirit.Furthermore,corresponding advancement paths are proposed:strengthening the modern integration of"consolidation"elements in ethnic sports,shaping a new ecosystem of ethnic sports courses,maintaining the regular operation of ethnic sports events in colleges and universities,and assisting local areas in jointly building demonstration zones for consolidating the consciousness of community for the Chinese nation through ethnic sports.
