By adopting literature research method and logical analysis,based on the theory of value identification,this paper explores the functional mechanism,dilemma and realization pathways of high-quality development of university sports.The study reveals that college students'value identification of university sports serves as the internal supporting factor influencing the high-quality development of university sports.The profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,the extensive application of digital technology,and the exploration and construction of the"Grand Ideological and Political Education"pattern provide external driving forces for the high-quality development of university sports.The cognitive misplacement of sports value,the imbalance between the supply side and demand side of university sports education,and the difficulty in synergy among multiple subjects of university sports have become the main challenges faced by the high-quality development of university sports.Based on this,corresponding development paths are proposed:Focus on the starting point of education to enhance the traction of sports value;Identify the emotional resonance points to enhance the affinity of sports value;Address the concerns of interests to enhance the attractiveness of sports value.
