Enhancement of Beijing's International Exchange Function through the Legacy of Beijing Winter Olympics 2022
This study adopts literature research method,expert interviews,and field research to discuss the value of the legacy of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in promoting the improvement of Beijing's international exchange function.The research suggests that the value of the legacy of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics in promoting the improvement of Beijing's international exchange function is reflected in the increasingly improved international interaction service environment,unprecedentedly active international cultural exchanges,and significantly enhanced urban international communication capacity and international interaction service efficacy.There are still some practical issues in boosting Beijing's international exchange function with the legacy of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics,such as insufficient attraction and aggregation of international high-end ice and snow resource elements,insufficient impetus for international sports and cultural exchanges,and the unnoticeable driving capacity of the international ice and snow industry.Based on this,targeted development countermeasures are proposed:expand cooperation with international organizations of individual winter sports and create an international sports organization cluster area;shape high-quality international ice and snow events and build a famous international ice and snow event city;promote the high-quality development of the ice and snow industry and deeply explore the potential of Beijing's international ice and snow consumption;increase the international dissemination of the cultural heritage of the Winter Olympics and enhance the effectiveness of urban image building.
