Construction of Sports Museums:Extraterritorial Experience and China's Approach
The high-quality development of sports museums constitutes a vital approach for advancing the strategies of building a cultural power and a sports power in depth and meeting the increasing demands for a better life among the people in the new era.This study adopts literature research method and logical analysis to investigate the construction of sports museums in China.The study suggests that the construction of sports museums in China has witnessed four major transformation trends:from single development to multi-dimensional integration,from traditional passive learning to active participation,from closed-door development to international connection,and from zero to diverse collaboration.Nevertheless,numerous obstacles persist.Therefore,built up upon the construction experiences of Olympic museums abroad,the realization paths for the high-quality development of sports museums in China are proposed:strengthening top-level design and comprehensively enhancing the working mechanism;cultivating service consciousness and elevating the quality of public services;expanding revenue channels and driving national economic development;awakening urban memory and inheriting traditional sports culture.
